新竹女兒譚雅婷、林詩嘉，在里約奧運勇奪射箭團體銅牌，16日晚間7時返抵國門，市長林智堅為表揚雙姝，在2人母校富禮國中，舉辦「新竹之光?榮耀國家」光榮返鄉晚會，感謝她們的付出，也鼓勵繼續為國爭光。

「雙姝不僅是新竹市的光榮，更是台灣的驕傲！」林智堅強調，這塊獎牌，是新竹市縣1982年分治後的「首面奧運獎牌」，更是台灣闊別12年後，再次拿下女子射箭項目銅牌，意義非凡，新竹市府也將投注、爭取更多資源，讓選手與教練有更完善的訓練環境。

16日晚間舉辦大型晚會外，還將富禮街「封街」，校門前更搭起大舞台、鋪上紅地毯，搬出舞龍舞獅、大鼓隊、啦啦隊，林智堅也親自迎接她們及教練倪大智，每位鄉親不畏風雨，紛紛到場熱情歡呼。

2016中華女子射箭隊，在里約奧運奪下團體銅牌，出身新竹市朝山地區的譚雅婷與林詩嘉，小學五年級起，隨教練倪大智習箭，一路克服手指頭長繭、破皮流血的苦楚，早期資源匱乏，還以橡皮筋、榻榻米當簡易器材，仍互相扶持勉勵，這些辛勤鄉親父老看在眼裡，也讓彼此在鄉里間傳為佳話。
